Magenta Morning Smoothie

My favorite morning smoothie recipe. This works best with a high powered blender. 

I love starting my mornings with a fresh, colorful smoothie. It’s fast and packed with nutrients for a healthy kick start to your day. This one adds the most beautiful pop of color to your morning. 

Ingredients:

  • ¼ c almonds 

  • ½ c Full fat coconut  milk

  • ½ c water

  • 1c kale

  • ½ c chopped beets (no need to peel)

  • 1c mixed berries, fresh or frozen

  • ⅓ of a banana

  • Ice as desired

Place coconut milk, nuts and water in a high powered blender and blend until smooth. Add remaining ingredients in order listed. Process until smooth, which will take longer in a standard blender.

This is packed with healthy fats, vitamins such as B6, C, E and K, and minerals such as calcium, magnesium, manganese, potassium, iron and folate.
